International Social Medical Co.

An architectural façade design for the International Social Medical Co. building, presented in two distinct concepts. The first reinterprets Islamic architecture in a contemporary idiom: dark grey stone cladding, vertical piers crowned with copper mashrabiya-style screens, and a pointed entrance arch filled with a glowing geometric star lattice, framed by canted shoulders. The second wraps a full-height glass curtain wall in a white, soft-cornered shell cut by bronze louvres, carrying the illuminated Medical Center sign. Dusk renderings reveal the building's presence, transparency and relationship to the street.
